Community of St Augustine's

The Community of St Augustine’s is situated in the Isandlwana area. It is in its humble beginnings and is headed by the Prior, Fr Fungayi Nyandoro. We are grateful to God that Brother Emilio Kasaba has finished his year of study at the College of the Transfiguration in Grahamstown and has returned to us.

Work in the Community continues. The chapel is being renovated and we are busy working in the field to grow our own food. We are also involved in the work of Indlu Ye-Isisa which was started by the Community of the Holy Name (CHN) Sisters and which works with orphans in the wider community.

We are in need of transport to enable us to go on more outreach trips to speak about vocations. If you can help, please contact Fr Fungayi at the address below.

We pray for more vocations to the monastic life, and that those who are called may take the right decision and never live to regret it.
