'Small deeds done are better
than great deeds planned' – Peter Marshall
Our diocese covers some of the most poverty-stricken areas of
the country ... places where children go hungry, families live
without running water or electricity and mothers spend back-breaking
days in the fields, trying to coax a few mealies and pumpkins
from the soil.
Add to this the scourge of HIV and AIDS, unemployment,
drug and alcohol abuse and lack of education opportunities and
skills training for our young people – and you will see why our
parishes need you!
Volunteer
Volunteers are welcomed with open arms at all levels, from joining
together with others in fellowship to assisting with pastoral and
outreach ministries.
Each provides different ways to serve others and grow in your
spiritual journey. Use the links below to find out more about the
various opportunities for involvement, or contact Ann-Louise Gaisford,
the diocesan secretary on tel.
035 474-2047.
